Part II, Advancing Equality for Black and Hispanic & Latinx Women, finds that women overall are hopeful about the state of gender equality in the US. However, only one-third of all women feel that media has made major progress in the last 10 years to better represent women. This is felt more acutely by Black women, with only one-quarter believing that media has made major progress. For Hispanic & Latinx women, there is a greater expectation that brands need to play a role as advocates and partners for gender equality.
