Female entrepreneurship is powering changes in the business landscape. Women now have allies as they strive to make their business dreams reality. Case in point: a great new media planning integration from American Express, MSNBC, and #SeeHer that supports women business owners and features #SeeHer custom segments.
Jill Hamilton, vice president, US Media, American Express, explains that the activation is part of a longer-term media partnership with NBCU. It shifts into high gear Saturday, September 22, which is American Women’s Business Day. JJ Ramberg, an MSNBC correspondent, business owner, and key to this effort, is devoting an entire episode of her show, Your Business, to the female empowerment movement this weekend.
The weekly weekend show gives honest, relatable advice to small- and medium-business owners. As a female entrepreneur herself, juggling multiple careers with family, JJ knows what it takes to be a successful businesswoman.
“JJ will speak with passionate, successful businesswomen who are taking charge, disrupting industries, and challenging the status quo,” Hamilton says. “With firsthand, personal insight into the challenges and achievements these women have overcome, we’ll help give a face and a voice to the #SeeHer movement throughout this unprecedented female-driven episode, encouraging audiences to find and believe in their own business dreams.”
